Well, your confusion is certainly understandable. What exactly is this persons status in the JW organization?

Shunned again, and you won't guess where. EVER.
by kwintestal inwell, we were going about our business today as we usually do on a monday.
mrs kwin went to work, kids went to school, i stayed home and made apple sauce and beer.
2:30 comes along and it's time to pick up everyone and, oh yeah ... we have that appointment today.

I agree Kwin. I think having this woman fired is a bit harsh. However, she has got to realize that if she puts her religious beliefs before her employer's policy or regulations that there will be repercussions.

I worked as an office manager for a psychiatric counseling facility for about 5 years. It was the receptionist's responsibility to pull the files on a daily basis for the counselors to chart in. Some of the councilors that were full time and didn’t share offices did keep their own files or paperwork. This information was still accessible by the office staff though. This may not be the case at your facility. Councilors may keep they’re own records under lock and key. I hope that this is the case for your sake.

Your privacy concerns are legitimate and should be taken seriously. This woman has access to your files and most likely will read them. As others have mentioned and I’m sure you’re well aware, she probably takes her “duty” as a JW and elder’s wife overboard. You can rest assured that at least Mr. Elder will hear about your visit to the center and most likely he’ll also get the low down on confidential file information as well.

CHEATING ON FIELD SERVICE
by chuckyy intowards the end of my time as a jw, i must confess to cheating whilst out on field service.. 1. i would turn up at the field service arrangement with my wife, and we would say that we were working together that day to do return visits.
as everyone went out, we would simply get into our car and drive home.
(hypocritical i know).

Well I certainly padded my hours. Is that considered cheating? If so....guilty as charged!

Neato! Garybuss. The JW artist was indeed inspired by divine intervention. Or maybe it was just the latest issue of Stern magazine.

Current Bethel Requirements?
by caligirl inwe jsut found out that my step son is planning to apply to bethel when he turns 19. does anyone know what they currently require, what the current "salary" is, amount of time off per year, etc?
he hasn't turned 18 yet, but is already regular pioneering so he can qualify.
we are just curious.

Yes but wouldnt it all be soooo worth while. I'd love to work for slave wages, give up all personal freedoms, and spend all my free time in field service just to be so close to the epicenter of it all. To work and live right there where Jehovah's guidance is so strong in directing his chosen people.

Are humans more animal like then we admit?
by free2beme inas an experiment, i dare anyone to go out on to the street and make eye contact with someone.
not just for a few seconds, i mean, look at their eyes and don't stop as they walk closer and pass by.
i would bet, that a large percentage of the men would ask you what your problem is, and ask you if you have a problem with them.

Yeah we learned to master fire and all of a sudden we're making up Gods in our image and afraid to admit that we're part of the animal kingdom.
